The Yoyofactory GFunk is very much like it's bigger brother, the Super G. The G-Funk is another great playing yo-yo from Yoyofactory made for Contest Team member Gentry Stein. Again, one needs no introduction to Gentry as he has been placing with the top few in contests and is one of the most promising, upcoming player of 2011-2012. The G-Funk is not only a reliable and consistent throw, it is one for the players who prefer a smaller, more undersized throw. However, despite its small size, do not underestimate this yo-yo, it is able to hold up against all those full sized yo-yos.
The G-Funk features a wide string gap for easier string catches, a H-shape butterfly profile that many modern yo-yo players have come to love and request for. Furthermore, the G-Funk uses a large bearing for smooth, long spinning string tricks, as well as silicone response pads for a tight reliable bind. Due to the H-shaped profile, the G-Funk not only spins incredibly long, it is also very stable and great for those side style tricks. The G-Funk is no push over, or underdog. It is a yo-yo that has huge performance despite its small size!
